Hope you are doing
well and are taking advantage of the last month of summer! Here at MBPP we have
been busy this summer with new additions to our team (yes we are growing!!!!
Yaaaaaayy!!!!!!) We are happy to announce that not only are we doing makeup
but we are officially doing hair as well as hair extensions! God is good and we
are very excited about our add-ons! With our team increasing we wanted to start
a newsletter to send to our lovely sparkles to keep up to date with how you
guys are doing, what is going on in MBPP land, and share our favorite makeup
technique or product of the moment!
First I wanted to
thank you for your support. These last almost 3 years would not have happened
if it was not for every one of my amazing sparkles!! I am so blessed to have
connected with you! Your support has helped our team grow and flourish in what
we love… Beauty! This summer we were privileged enough to be invited to
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (2nd biggest fashion show in the states)
and if you didn’t see our pictures on FB you missed all the craziness! From
spotting celebrities, to getting amazing Make Up For Ever in our swag bag, to
seeing amazing designs walk the runway! We came back with a desire to
keep up the amazing beauty trends spotted in the 305, and bring them to the
904! (Which inspired our product of the month!! LOL)
We also wanted to
announce some very fun dates that you or someone you know may want to add to
your calendar!! This Sunday (August 26th) we will be at the Sawgrass
Marriott in Ponte Vedra Beach from 1pm to 5pm not only for a vendor bridal
show, but also producing an actual bridal fashion show! If you know anyone
getting married this is a fun event and a great way to spend a girly day
looking at bridal fashion! Other bridal show days (without the fashion show,
Sorry!) will be September 9th at UNF (Jacksonville, FL) and
September 16th at the Civic Center (Savannah, GA). We will also be
doing a makeup class in Houston TX, in October… But the date is still not
determined! Yes as if we aren’t busy enough we are going to start traveling to
teach the amazing techniques of perfect HD camera ready makeup! We are so
excited!!!!!!!
With all of this
being said we are so grateful for everyone’s support and have started a
campaign for giving back. The MBPP Team wants to get fashion industry and non
fashion industry people together with a purpose to reach out to the community.
Right now we are currently trying to decide what charity we want to kick start
our campaign with, which is why we need your help! Of course we want to help
them all, but we must start with one! If you can think of an organization that
means a lot to you and touches your heart, please email us back with why this
organization means a lot to you, or if you know someone who has benefited from
it (without giving names) tell us how this organization has already changed the
life of someone you know! I can’t wait to hear everyone’s stories!!!
Now onto
everyone’s favorite part: MAKEUP!!!!!! So, when I was at Mercedes-Benz Fashion
Week I did what every girl in their right mind would… HIT UP THE SWAG
ROOM!!!! Our new FAVEORITE PRODUCT OF THE YEAR is Make Up For Ever’s Aqua
Rouge! This lip stick/gloss REALLY DOES stay on until you wash it off!!! Our
tip is to apply the color portion and wait a full 60 seconds until it “dries”.
THEN apply the gloss. Their color collection isn’t huge BUT if you find the
right color you will be in LOVE with this product!!!!!! Let me know how much
